Kindness: NICE & SIMPLE...everyday in little ways.
here are some ideas to creatively integrate kindness in your daily activities...
love to COOK?

make a meal for someone in need (new baby, illness or death, spouse traveling/deployed...)

bring a sweet treat to work "just because"

bring food to the police or fire station as a thank you

share a recipe with a friend (this is a very simple, thoughtful gesture)

take a treat to the staff at the local animal shelter (or bake pet-treats for the animals)

bring something yummy to your next board meeting, block meeting, or book club (sharing food aids sharing ideas!)

love cookie-swap parties? make up a plate (or two) of cookies for a nursing home or community shelter
cook with kids (your kids, the neighbor's kids, your grandkids...)
share part of the resulting pizza, casserole, pie (whatever!) with someone who could really use it cook up the teachers, administrators, or secretaries at the school a "thank you" something (cookies, cupcakes, biscuits...) involve your kids in preparing dinner (that's an act of patience :)

- if you're on the sidelines at a venue where people are competing, cheer on those people you don't know, too. everyone likes to be cheered for!
